Andersen's Managing Partner in Spain, José Vicente Morote, has been appointed as a new member of the Global Board of Directors of the firm, after being elected by the European Regional Board to serve as one of the firm's representatives in Europe.

The Global Board of Directors is Andersen Global's highest governing body, chaired by the firm's Global Chairman and CEO, Mark Vorsatz, and composed of over 10 members from several regions of the world, who bring different perspectives to the firm's organization and expansion process.

In addition to Mark and Jose Vicente, the Global Board is comprised of Stefan Kraus (Germany), Bill Amon (U.S. - L.A.) Ilan Ben Eli (Israel), Joseph Karczewski (U.S. – Chicago), Ellen MacNeil (U.S. – Washington, D.C.), Dorice Pepin (U.S. – Chicago), Joseph Toce (U.S. – New York), Jelil Bouraoui (Tunisia), Lena Hamdi (Egypt) and Juan Federico Fischer (Uruguay).

José Vicente, who took over the management of Andersen in Spain alongside Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre in January 2021, is also the global organization’s European Legal Coordinator.

For the Managing Partner of Andersen in Spain, this new international responsibility, "is a very exciting new challenge that allows us to put the Spanish footprint on the global development of the firm, both in the expansion for the integration of new members and in the coordination of all the countries and institutionalization of the firm.” He stressed that the appointment is, "recognition of the work and efforts of the firm in Spain, which will continue to contribute knowledge and professionals to the global management for the firm growth.”
