Andersen Continues Support of the University of San Francisco School of Law

Mark Vorsatz, Andersen Tax LLC CEO and Chairman of Andersen Global, and his wife, Liz Vorsatz, together with Andersen and the Andersen Foundation, recently contributed $1 million to the University of San Francisco (USF) School of Law Graduate Tax Program. This contribution reinforces Andersen’s commitment to its partnership with the USF School of Law, through which it provides employees an opportunity to earn advanced degrees in taxation.

In 2014, Andersen launched a partnership with USF to provide a unique opportunity for its employees to earn a Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM) or a Master of Legal Studies in Taxation (MLST) degree, at no cost to its employees. The program is conducted online in a compressed, seven-week term format, outside of typical tax busy seasons, so individuals are best able to balance serving their clients and continuing their professional development. Approximately 150 Andersen employees from around the globe are currently enrolled in the degree program, with 40% of the students based outside of the U.S. To date, 64 U.S. and six non-U.S. employees from the member and collaborating firms of Andersen Global have successfully graduated and earned an advanced degree in taxation, with their tuition paid in full, by the global organization.
