Andersen in Spain Incorporates DA Lawyers

Andersen in Spain takes another step forward in its expansion as the firm reaches an agreement with DA Lawyers, bolstering its capabilities and team in the Madrid office as the firm strategically plans for significant growth over the next several years.
The transaction reinforces Andersen’s areas of specialization, emphasizing the departments of M&A, litigation, labor, real estate, insolvency, tax, audiovisual, intellectual property and sports law.
Ivo Portabales, Managing Partner of DA Lawyers, joins Andersen's M&A department as a Partner and brings with him a team of more than 75 professionals and 16 Partners. The group joins the Madrid office and expands the firm's staff to more than 320 professionals in Spain, providing services in all areas of law while increasing the synergies within the rest of the firm's offices.
