Andersen in Spain continues to expand its areas of expertise with the incorporation of Partner Carlos Rodríguez Sau, who will lead the firm’s Legal Technology (Legal Tech) practice.

Carlos, who joins the Madrid office, and his team of professionals possess broad expertise in technology law, including the protection and management of intangible assets, technology contracting, digital identity and digital trust services. The team also has experience developing control models and regulatory compliance processes – a prelude to Robotic Process Automation or Software Robotics (RPAs) – specializing in the areas of privacy, cybersecurity and technological intellectual property, with a particular focus on the financial sector. 

Prior to joining to Andersen, Carlos was a Partner at PwC and the head of the National Intangibles and Technology Law practice at Ecix Group and CSV Consulting, specializing in software compliance. With more than 24 years of experience, he holds a law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a diploma in EU Law from the Universidad San Pablo CEU. Additionally, he obtained a master's degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy from IE Law School.
