Andersen in Spain incorporates Partner Pedro Rubio into its Madrid office, reinforcing its Public and Regulatory Law area as the firm continues to expand the breadth of its practices in the country. The department, led by Managing Partner José Vicente Morote, now has five Partners in Madrid and eight Partners at the national level.

Pedro has more than 25 years of experience in legal advisory and the management of transactions and legal proceedings, both in Spain and before the General Court of the European Union, in the areas of expropriations, public procurement, cartels, resolution of credit institutions, energy and asset liability proceedings.

Prior to joining Andersen, Pedro was a Partner at Cuatrecasas, Ramón Hermosilla and Ontier, where he was the head of the Regulatory and Public Law department in the firm's Madrid office. Recognized as a leading lawyer in Public Law by legal directories such as Chambers and Partners, he holds a law degree from Deusto University and is a member of the Academic Faculty of the Instituto de la Empresa.
