Andersen Tax & Legal in Spain welcomes Partner Miguel Prado to the Madrid Office. Miguel joins the firm’s corporate department to promote the Financial Regulation and Financial Technology practice areas.

Miguel holds a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in International Law from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE). He specializes in legal and regulatory advice to national and foreign credit institutions, credit finance companies, payment institutions, investment service companies and collective investment institutions.

He also has extensive experience in regulatory advice on cross-border transactions, and authorization procedures for entities and cross-border structures. Within the Financial Technology sector, Miguel has advised different entities and new operators belonging to the lending, or media payment, sector on adapting to the applicable regulations.

Prior to joining Andersen Tax & Legal in Spain, Miguel was Director of the Regulatory and Compliance practice at Deloitte Legal, and previously, a lawyer of the same area at Linklaters and KPMG Abogados. Recognized by the Best Lawyers directory in the area of Compliance and Corporate Governance, Miguel collaborates as a Compliance professor for the Master’s degree program at the Instituto de Empresa and is a regular speaker at different universities and forums in the sector.
